For many years I was able to go to take the trash off and week after week I would see Mr. Doye there, and have the chance to chat and catch up on the week's happenings. At Thanksgiving and Christmas it was always a joy to be able to take meals and fruit baskets to him from church, even after he retired from the recycling center, and it was a pleasure to be able to care for him in his

Teeny was my mother's sister (Rubye Smathers). I met Doye on several occasions; he was very fond of Teeny's family and I know my mother enjoyed the times she spent with Teeny and Doye. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
