Sonny. I miss you so so so much! I think about you every single day! I wish you were here to see everything happening. Some would make you proud, and some things would set you off on a mad spree. God knew he needed another angel in Heaven, but it still hurts not knowing you are not here. It is so hard to believe it is coming up on 2 years. I cant wait til the day we meet again. I love and miss you so much!

When I first join 120 Sunny was always one of the many that pushed me to get my certifications. He would always joke with me and I would joke back.. I would do anything for Sunny no questions asked. He was a great friend and a better Fireman. I will miss him very much but will never forget him. Even the new fireman that we get I tell them about Sunny.

I do not even know where to start; Sonny was a good Man and a good friend. The Porter family from Sophia will miss him. He was a good friend and fire fighter of my grand father Robert W Porter Sr. of Sophia Fire Dept Station 115. I know that they are back together in Heaven talking about all the good time they had.

I put together a page on our website for Sonny. It is at: view link

Love and Best Wishes to all of you and your family. Bobby L Porter

Mary Moran and Family,
So sorry to hear about Sonny. I remember him from our days at the Credit Bureau. I was out shopping when the longest funeral procession I have ever seen came by with cars, firetrucks, ambulances, and police vehicles. I knew it was someone from your area, and was shocked when I looked online and saw Sonny's name. Sonny obviously knew a lot of people and was well liked. I am sorry for your loss and love you.
