Robinson was a dear friend and mentor to me, We connected two years ago in a chamber function , once he found out that my dad was cheif justice of Iranian military court under the Shah , and we both had some great memories of living in Arlington.
He took me to lunch on May 11th downstairs of his office , he told me he will be busy until the second week of June . I called to day to say it is my turn now to take him to lunch , the message on his cell made me feel numb
I was so proud of knowing someone like Robinson with such a great background , yet modest and humble, he was wearing sneakers and said I appologize for these shoes but my doctor has told me to wear them .
he was always proud and intersted in listening . last summer we were comming back from a chamber function he said : "they told me I should use the handicap sign on my car since it makes it easier to park wherever I want, I said why not "
I lost a friend, a mentor, ............................I am so glad I met you Robinson ,you posessed a talent that no one can ever dream of ;
one the most important people in the country, yet whoever came in contact with you you made them feel special ......
