I am so sorry about your loss. Millie was my favorite aunt. When we were growing up in Pico Rivera and Whittier, CA, she would visit us with Uncle John, bringing us much beloved Klotz T-shirts. She was always shopping for Christmas presents for her family at "Pic-&-Save"(which she called "Pick & Shove"). Later when visiting on a college singing gospel tour, she took got me adicted to garage sales. She had a real flair for life.

I'm sorry to hear about Mildred's passing. As a young boy I lived across the street from John and Mildred and their family on Taber Street. When I saw her picture in the obituary it brought back memories of her calling me Jackie. Never thought I would live that down. Her picture also reminded me of young Mary smiling.
