Memories & Candles
Aunt Mary, I am so sorry about the loss of Uncle John. The kids remember him as the Uncle who loved shrimp. Cathy

As a youngster I would see Uncle John on a weekend morning when he would arrive after walking from Waltham to our house in Newton. I was always amazed at his ability to do that. Heartfelt condolences to all the Callahans.

Dear Aunt Mary & Family, I’m so saddened by the loss of Uncle John. His unlimited love and devotion for your family was most evident whenever he spoke about his prized grandchildren. I have so many memories of his quick wit and ability to make you laugh in any situation. His sense of humor is one we all will never forget and his memory will live on in all of us. With love, Kathleen

Dear Elaine, John, Jack, Molly and Harry, I am so very saddened to have of heard of your sudden loss. After reading your father/grandfather's obituary, it sounds like a huge loss it will be. It is always so difficult to face losing someone so special in our lives. May the fond memories you have live on and on and bring you comfort in the days ahead. Sincerely and lovingly, Mrs. Linda Coldrick

I will always remember Uncle John's wit, breadth of knowledge, and love of family. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren. I will always be grateful for the attention and love he showed to "Weezie" (my mother) during the final years of her life. Thank you and God bless you, John.

Pa, I will miss your sense of humor, and the way you welcomed me into your home, your limited appointments schedule at the coffee shop, and your love for the Red Sox. I only wish I could have met you sooner, so that I may have known you better. Love, Julie
