Having only seen Mollie in Are You Being Served and later in Grace in Favour, was enough for me to rank her right alongside of the legendary Lucille Ball. What a funny lady!. I wish her earlier work could some how make it over here to the USA. She will be missed, but not forgotten.

As a great fan of Are you being served,I saw a great many shows recorded,also grace and favour,and also saw Mollie in various stage play's she was a wonderful actress.
I was also fortunate to be invited to her lovely house for tea,it was a lovely afternoon,and hearing about her early days in acting and meeting Bill who was also a well known actor,these are treasured memories of a beautiful occasion.
And after I sent a thank you card I was amazed to receive a hand written recipe for one of the cakes Mollie had baked and which I had said was delicious but hadn't heard of it.She was a truly lovely lady,and will long be remembered
