Dr. Morris H. Lampert

LAMPERTDr. Morris H. Lampert, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, July 13. Dr Lampert was born and raised in San Antonio. He attended Breckenridge High School, Trinity University and UT Southwestern Medical School. After completing an internship in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and a fellowship at Montifiore Hospital in New York, Dr. Lampert returned to San Antonio to open the first neurology practice in the city. Dr. Lampert treated many thousands of patients with great love and compassion, often foregoing payment for his services. Dr. Lampert was a passionate student of the Bible, and had an encyclopedic knowledge of biblical verse and commentary. He was looking forward with great anticipation to his next great adventure and his answer to the biblical mysteries which he had pondered for so many years. Dr. Lampert is survived by his wife, best friend and muse, Judy Lampert, his daughter Stephanie and son in law Scott Rosuck and their daughters Madeleine, Emily, Sophie and Charlotte and his son Adam and daughter in law Jill Lampert and their children Casey, Abery and Micah, all of whom would like to share with Dr. Lampert's friends and family the words of Dr. Seuss: "Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened."
