Candle

I was working at the Age Concern Venton Centre in Eastbourne, when Henry who at the time was still living at home was brought in to have tea with Pearl Smith who organises the weekly minibus shopping trips for the centre and at the time Henry was a regular user of this service.
Someone asked him about his long life, and he said cigarettes and whisky, I added and what about the wild wild women, thinking of the song words, ever since whenever he has used the phrase my husband has said to me ,you put thatinto Henry's mind, I have felt great admiration for him ever since that meeting. Candle

Thank you for adding to my life. I saw you on TV, and I learned about your crusade to remind people of the sacrifices made by WWI soldiers and how we need to strive for peace in our world. My Grandfather was a Navy man during WWI, and I was blessed to know him. I am glad that you wrote your autobiography, and I hope to read it soon. Again, thank you.
