Having met "LYNN" at the SISTER SPACE Book-signing Event (U St., NW in Washington, DC)... It was truly A BLESSING... In my eyes, E. LYNN HARRIS WAS A REAL BROTHER (something our race is lacking lately), whom dealt with HONESTY in a way which others could not)!! My condolences to His FAMILY, His PARTNER and ALL OF HIS OTHER FANS WORLD-WIDE...

I have read all of his novels and had the pleasure of meeting him, taking pictures with him, and have an autographed book from him. He's another wonderful person who is 'gone too soon'.

I have read all of Mr. Harris' books from the beginning to end. I decided to read Say A Little Pray. Words can not express how much we a going to miss him. Being the mother of an openly gay son, he has discovered Mr. Harris' novels and can not put them down once he start reading them. Missing you and always will.

Rest in peace, Lynn. You brought a lot of joy to the world, and introduced us to a segment of American life little explored before you wrote of it. I'll always remember your gracious advice to this nascent author.

From the first book that I read that was written by E. Lynn Harris whenever I heard of a new book I had to get it to read. Reading his books was always a delight it was easy reading that made you want to get to the end to find out what the conclusion of the story was.
