Sherwood was my neighbor for many years and I have never had a nicer neighbor. He kept a close watch on the neighborhood, shared his home grown greens with me, chatted over the fence. To me he was just a great friend. Jeannie

My mother has been a friend of Sherwood since the 60`s.On the few occasons I visited Texas he was always wonderful and caring,he certainly gave me good advise.He will always be remembered.Salut! Eva

MY MOTHER (Lola)WORKED FOR SHERWOOD FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HAS SHARED ALOT OF THE MEMORIES WITH ME.I REMEMBER HIM GIVING HER THE MONEY ONE DAY, TO GO HAVE HER HAIR FIXED.SHE BOUGHT A WIG INSTEAD.HE HAD SOME GOOD IN HIM.ONE THING FOR SURE HE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED BY HER. CINDY

I often asked about him thorough a mutual friend who told me he moved in with his Daughter. I hadn't seen Sherwood in the past few years, but I remember we had many interesting conversations. The Man was Sharp and you couldn't slip any B.S. past him. I'll miss him...
