You are truly missed

Dorothy was a wonderful woman. I met her years ago through my Mother who designed some custom closets for her. I then took a job as a nanny to her children William and Dana for the summer before I went away to college. I never lost touch with Dorothy and when I came home from school I would visit on a regular basis. Dorothy would just call me to do things with her and I enjoyed her company so much.

Dorothy was a wonderful woman. I met her years ago through my Mother who designed some custom closets for her. I then took a job as a nanny to her children William and Dana for the summer before I went away to college. I never lost touch with Dorothy and when I came home from school I would visit on a regular basis. Dorothy would just call me to do things with her and I enjoyed her company so much. She was always there for people and had a huge heart. She never missed a special occassion such as birthdays, weddings, and the birth of my first child. She then decided to move from Ft Myers to Gettysburg and I truly missed our visits and her wonderful stories and our wonderful conversations. I spoke to her every now and again via phone and email, she always sent me cards and pictures. When I found out she had cancer I was devastated, and could not understand how someone so wonderful could have to go through this. I wish I could have been there for her funeral to say goodbye, and someday I will see her again. Dorothy, you are truly missed, I miss you and will always have you in my heart. You touched so many lives, may you rest in peace. I hope that people will understand how much of a remarkable person she truly was!!!! I love you Dorothy!
