Dear Mrs. Batten & Family, Our son Christopher has been a student at Culver Academies the past two summers, and has had wonderful experiences there. He has earned badges in Bible, Sailing, Horseback Riding, Fencing, Ice Skating, Art, Theater, Air Rifle, Lacrosse, Archery, Soccer, Baseball, Tennis, Golf, "The Vedette" newspaper, Swimming, Rocketry & Nature. He became an officer this year, and looks forward to returning for his "Gold C" year. We are from Indiana and are very grateful to have a place so close to home that offers a wonderful program to develop ability, leadership & character, and attracts students from all over the world. Christopher's closest friends are from Geneva, Switzerland & Brussels, Belgium. Thank you so much for the support you've given to Culver Academies, which helps this amazing place to continue on. With Appreciation,

We are all saddened to hear the loss of such a great man. Keep in mind he is resting now with no pain. His journey was long & tiresome. He was greeted by the Lord & told it was time for him to come home. I pray that the Lord wraps his loving arms around the family during this tough time. Stay strong family, because that is what Frank would have wanted! God Bless. Stephanie, George, Lillian & Family

I'm proud to say that I was already an employee of The Weather Channel when Mr. Batten flipped the switch for our launch. Now, almost 28 years later, I'm still proud to be an employee of The Weather Channel. It was Mr. Batten's leadership, credibility and direction that made Landmark an incredible company to work for throughout the duration of our relationship. He will be sorely missed and I will never forget him.
