I remember we used to refer to Lawrence as an Uncle and not a cousin, he was much older then us. I was doing family research on Uncle Harold (hopeing there were family pictures on the internet somewhere or Morris family reunion information) when I came across Lawrence's obituary, I am extremely sorry for your loss and hope you wlll find comfort in his memories.
My family tie is through Dian Reed and Sybil Morris Cox. my mother and grandmother, and I was fondly called Little Dian.

We have wonderful memories of papa. He was especially kind to my children. In his latter years, while he was living with his daughter Judy and helping with the day care, he became a special friend to my little girl. He loved to hold her on his lap and talk with her. She had an imaginary friend at the time, they would carry on conversations with my daughters little friend. He always went out of his way to show his

Love and condolences to my most beloved cousins. Though we have not remained close through the years, I still think of you often. What wonderful childhood memories. I remember your father always kept an eye to the clock when you came out to the desert to visit. He wanted to be sure you hit the road on time, on schedule. I understand and can appreciate that much more now, but oh how I hated to see you go then. May

I'll miss "Papa" Morris's wonderful, welcoming smile. He always seemed so caring and interested in everyone around him. No wonder little children flocked to him. He was truly a gracious man, and his children remain a living example of his kind spirit.

Please accept my condolences. Although I have not had much contact in recent years, I do remember the many great camping adventures our two families and the other brothers and cousins families had together as we continued to grow up and watch our children grow. Lawrence was always the camp organizer, fire builder, horseman and man of the mountains and country side. He shared with us and taught us to enjoy it too. He will be missed. May you (the family) find peace in your loving memories of him. Sharon

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that this finds your family and friends in the best spirits as can be. I want the family to know that I appreciate Mr. Morris' military service and his devotion to his country.
