My only memory of Shiloh is through a documentary which was aired here in the U.K. last night showing Shiloh's last few months. Normally my husband and I find it too difficult to watch documentaries focusing on disabled children but Shiloh's personality just instantly drew us in. She made us smile, and laugh. Instead of pity, we felt happy watching this little star. I felt shocked when it emerged that she died. My daughter and I cried like babies, and still woke this morning in tears. For an hour after the show I watched the tributes pour in as I was intrigued to know if others were as affected by Shiloh as we were. And it has dawned on me that this little girl bought the best part of a nation together last night. So many of us put aside our political differences, personal problems and our own grief, to pay tribute to the girl that moved us as a nation. We were moved not by pity, but a contagious strong little spirit who touched us all. What a gift to Elmer and Leslie that they were able to have her in their lives for 10 years, and what a tribute to the pair of you. Thank you for allowing us an insight into your lives. You've woken something up in many of us. Let that give you the strength to get you through this. x x

I never got to meet this beautiful outgoing little girl but I have watched her grow up these past 2 years on television.I have been paralyzed from the waist down since birth because I was born with Spina Bifida I thought that over the past 25 years I had learned how to be pretty independent but watching Shiloh has inspired me to want to learn how to do so much more.God Bless Shiloh's wonderful family especially her parents I know you guys consider yourselves lucky to have had her as your daughter and you were but she was just as lucky to have you guys as parents. You remind me of my parents they have always striven to give me as normal a life as possible despite my disability it takes some pretty special parents to raise a child with a disability and you guys did an amazing job.I know 10 years wasn't long enough to have your little girl but always remember she is never far away she is looking down on you from Heaven with that beautiful smile of hers.

I start crying every time I think of Shiloh.

It feels like the world got a whole lot darker now that her sweet, vibrant, adorable, brave, little soul has passed...

There are no words to describe the impact that this little girl had on me...

To her wonderful parents and family : I offer you my deepest and most sincere condolences.
One cannot b-e-g-i-n to imagine the pain you are all going through. My thoughts are with you.

I just saw the last documentary made of shiloh last night...I cried through the whole thing. The things that this little girl would say out of her mouth touched me and I was very upset that someone sooooooo sweet and vibrant was taken away from here so early in life. She will be missed!

Sweet girl, thanks for lighting up our lives with your strong, delightful, amazing character! My thoughts are with you Pepin family. Stay strong and never forget how wonderful you were as parents. You gave her sooooo much true love and compassion. That's all she needed and I believe that is why she always had a smile on her face!
