The De La Vina Family in Arizona was sadden to hear of the passing of our cousin Gus. Our hearts and prayers go out to the rest of the family in Texas and Nevada. May God bless and comfort our family during this time of need. Gus was an amazing man and his legacy will live on for eternity.

Primo, You were such a great presence in my life. Although you were 10 years older, you always made time for me. As I look back, there were only good times and happy memories. I remember my mom spoilng you and Frank when you were at our house and I loved to see her so happy around you. The blessing is knowing that you, tia Irma and my mom are together again. Loving You, Alda

Tio Gus,
October 25th Sunday is a blessed day which now belongs to you and God. Scripture reads: "He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God."
Thank you, compassionate, God of life for our lives. Thank you for your love and your forgiveness when we fall short of your ultimate will.

I just want to say that my grandfather was a very loving and caring man, he loved his job more then anything and I'm very proud to be his grandson and hope to follow in his foot steps. I love you and miss you very much grandpa.

I was privileged to be assigned to the Border Patrol with Gus as our Deputy Chief in the El Paso Sector. The Texas drawl, cigarette in hand, a strong supporter of his troops in the field. Not many like him left in the patrol.
His passing is a loss to us all.
