Marty Titcomb introduced me to August when I lived in SF. We became good friends and would talk for hours on the phone. I went to Savannah to visit him and he came to SF and we always got together and watched old movies, went to his favorite restaurants and in general just enjoyed each other's company. I will miss him greatly. He had called me from Newport Beach shortly before he passed away. I wish I knew if there is going to be a memorial. Kathryn Runyon
