I always admired Michelle's talents as an actress, singer and dancer. She was obviously someone beloved by those who knew her, and her willingness to commit to a relationship for the long haul also draws my admiration, even though both of her long term relationships started with married men. I wish she had done more with her many creative talents as an actress and singer/dancer. She could have had a very fine career. Obviously she preferred being a companion to the very talented men in her life, especially Dick Van Dyke. Apparently they were very happy together. I more than once was mistaken for her by film crews on locations around Malibu, and invited to partake of their buffets on set and to sit and watch the action, which amused me enormously! Now that I have seen more recent photos of her, I can see why. I hope Dick finds solace in knowing that theirs was a rare and happy union of two compatible people, such as few people find in their lifetimes. May she rest in peace! Wendy Maddy
