Dale H. Fox

My sincere condolences to the family I will certainly miss Dale. It was always nice to know he was there. Every time I talked to him it was like I had talked to him the day before.

Very sorry to hear of Dale's passing. He was always very kind to me. The thoughts and prayers of our family goes out to yours. May he rest in peace.

We will miss Dale. He was a good friend and a good person. My wife and I have known Dale for about sixteen years. Dale hired me in 1999. He was a good boss. Our condolences and prayers go to the Fox family. May God bless all of you. Margarito and Maria Montoya

I send my condolences to the Fox family. I have known Dale for quite some time now. My father is a designer for Autum Wood. My memory is when I helped out, when Dale was running for Mayor, if my memory serves me right. Dale you will be in my prayers, as well as your loved one....

It's my calculation that I first met Dale about 15 years or so ago. I was hired by a third party broker to do graphic design work on the catalog/brochure for AutumnWood Doors and Furniture. I sat across from Dale at the meeting table and how can I say this... HE SCARED ME! I admit I was completely intimidated by him. I can even tell you what he was wearing, he made such an impression on me.

During this meeting I realized that this was a man who knew what he wanted, how he wanted it and was going to have it! I prayed all the way home that I was up to the task.

I say all the time that if you have faith, and just keep moving forward, and that even if you can't see around the corner, God can. Who knew that this particular day, I would turn the corner, run smack dab in the middle of Dale Fox and eventually get to know him and who he was, fall in love with not only him, but his wife, his children and their grandchildren. Not to mention all of his employees... amazing people.

That meeting changed my life and I was blessed enough to be able to tell him so the day before he died. I tried to convey what he'd done for me that actually changed who I am. He has given me countless hours of advice, encouragement and kindness... oh and yes.. GRIEF too! I always told him that he treated me like a daughter.. and he yelled at me like one too! :). I also was able to tell him that he's been better to me than my own father ever was and I was able to thank him for that.

The discussion I had with him is something that I will remember forever. As I started to get a little weepy he said "Kathy, don't you cry for me. I'm not scared, I'm ready." Then he pointed in the general direction of the fireplace in their bedroom and said "I can see Jesus' face there waiting for me." He patted me on the hand and said with a smile I don't think I've ever seen on him before, "Im going home"

Goodbye Dale.. for now. (I asked him to put in a good word for me and to save me a seat)
