Mrs. Mercer, Lisa, and family we are so sorry for your loss. I know this is hard and really nothing anyone can say will make it better, but know that God will get you thru this … just lean on him as well as you have lots of family and friends. Remember the great times you had with him and know he is in loving hands. Alex and Linda McConnaghy

Yvonne,Our deepest sympathy go to you, Ricky and your family. Even though we havn't seen you too often at the club, it was always a special treat when we did. C.L. always had a big smile and kind word. We will be out of town next week, so our apologies for not being able to attend his memorial service, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Our love to you.

Yvonne, I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. I know how very much you and CL loved each other - the love does not die and you will feel his presence every day when you go out into your yard. I deeply regret not getting by to have that "cup of coffee" with the two of you!!! I just stay so busy but I now know that is no excuse and something I will forever regret. CL

I am wondering if this is the C.L. Mercer I used to know back in the mid 60's while working at the A&P in Chesapeake. If so, although I knew him only briefly, I often think of him with fond memories, his exuberent personalty was contagious. I know he will be missed. my condolences. Gary Williams
