Memories & Candles


I received word from Kay Walawendar. I have so many vivid memories of Else - who I referred to as Mrs. Tangen. Her accent, her grace and poise and her compassion. These were all important to me as I grew up and went to "The Little Church" in Sheldrake. The Tangens were always there and helped me to grow. Always patient and always kind. Thru the years I have thought of Else - and if I think of her I also had to think of Mr. Tangen. I keep those times with me always.

The Lord bless your family from on high dearest brother Audun as your grieve the bitter loss here on earth yet rejoice with all Christians the eternal life Else celebrates now.

The day will come when those who follow Christ will be reunited with their loves and meet their one True Love, Jesus Christ, the blessed Savior. The love and greetings from all of the members of Christ Lutheran Church are with you. It was such a joy to have you there to celebrate the 50th Anniversary in Interlaken.
