Mr. Charles Edward Haist

Mr. Charles Edward Haist, age 66 of Locust Grove passed away November 19, 2009. He was born in Parkersburg, WV to the late Richard W. Haist, Sr. and Kathalee Reynolds Haist. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles R.T. Haist and by brothers, Richard and Thomas Haist. He graduated from Forest Park High School and LaSalle University and served his country in the United States Army and National Guard. His whole working career was with the U.S. Government and was a member of the Mensa Society. He was an avid golfer whom enjoyed darts, playing cards and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Suzan Haist of Locust Grove; daughter, Kathalee (Tom) Peters of Buford; sister, Sonja (Dick) Sherrell of Flowery Branch. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.
