Condolences to Lela's family and friends. I have never seen an older woman who had so much energy and good health as Lela. She was always walking around the neighborhood and visiting and if the weather was too bad she would drive to the mall and walk indoors. She shared her lovely and delicious pies with us and the neighbors during the different seasons which was very kind of her. I know it took her alot of time to make

Condolences to Lela's family and friends. I have never seen an older woman who had so much energy and good health as Lela. She was always walking around the neighborhood and visiting and if the weather was too bad she would drive to the mall and walk indoors. She shared her lovely and delicious pies with us and the neighbors during the different seasons which was very kind of her. I know it took her alot of time to make those pies and they had alot of love in them. She was very devoted to the church and lived her life a dedicated Christian. She also was kind to others by driving them to church when they had no way there. The neighborhood will miss seeing her zipping down the street to church service. And when strawberry, cherrie and apple seasons roll around we will certainly miss that cheery smile and a hand reaching out to give us a delicious pie.
