although I only knew Mrs. Silverheels by helping her create her very special ring that she called her wedding cake ring. I instantly loved her. I could see God in her spirit and her face. She lite up when she spoke of her family and of the history behind her very special ring. I know you lost a great lady on earth, but heaven is shinning brighter because she is there. May God bless your family. Shelby Peck Perry's Emporium

My Dearest Aunt Katherine, you were truly a blessing from God. I remember when Uncle Steve and you came home from California for a visit I was a small child then and we walked down the old railroad track beside Poppa and Granny's house just so you could look for a piece of the old railroad track, it was a big deal to me. You have a big place in my heart and I loved talking with you and visiting

Grandma, I love you so much and very sad that you are gone now. I keep remembering everything that we did together growing up as a child. Picking tomatoes is one of the most fondest memories I have. I know you are in a better place and no longer hurting. I wish I had spent more time with you and I wish you were able to spend more time with your great grandson whom you called Possum. I will tell

I will miss you so much grandma! I have many great memories of you. I will never be able to go to Disneyland without thinking of you. And every time I'm in snowy weather it will remind me that you and grandpa were the ones who took me to see the snow or the first time. I know you are home now, I am happy for you but at the same time can't help but be selfish to miss you.

Steve, Cheryl & family: Please know that my heart is aching for you all. You know that I love my sweet Katherine dearly and I miss her so much already. She has always been a rock for me...I knew she was always there to listen, encourage and help where she could. She was a grand lady and I love her so much. Please take comfort in knowing how much she loved everyone of you and how proud she was of

Katherine Silverheels was the best grandmother a child could ask for. She meant a lot to me, and I only wish I could've had more time with her while she was alive. I never got to fully know her as a person, but what I've learned has definitely given me great respect for her. I will never stop loving or missing her, and I hope my Papa knows I care about him as well, and want him to know he's in my prayers.
