As it gets closer to the anniversary of Chris Henry’s passing, I wanted to express my condolences to Mr. Henry’s mother, his fiancé, his children, and his entire family.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Chris personally, words can’t express the sadness that I felt when I read that we were coming upon the one year anniversary of his passing.
May you all find comfort knowing that death was never God’s purpose for mankind. (Romans 5:12). Consequently, the Bible calls death an enemy. However, Jehovah God and his son, Jesus are stronger than the “enemy” and they have assured us that death will one day be brought to nothing! (1 Corinthians 15:26)
The scripture at Daniel 2:44 says in part, “The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin.” Jesus taught his disciples to pray for God’s Kingdom, of which he now rules as King in heaven. (Matthew 6:10; 1 Corinthians 15:25; Revelation 11:15) It is by means of God’s Kingdom that all human suffering and even death will be permanently removed. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
And for our loved ones who are sleeping in death, the King of God’s Kingdom has promised that he will raise these ones back to life on earth; and restore humans and the entire earth to their originally designed perfect condition. (Acts 24:15; John 5:25-30; John 11:11-44) (Job 33:25; Genesis 1:28; Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37: 10, 11, 29; John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Isaiah 9:7)
May these and all scriptures serve to comfort, strengthen, and sustain you during this difficult time. With heartfelt sympathy for your loss, Ms. Weston (Beaverg2009@yahoo.com)
