Mrs. Applerine Finley, age 89, of Jonesboro, former longtime Leachville resident, died Monday at her home. The daughter of the late Robert and Annie Swedholm Cobbs she had lived most of her life in Leachville. She was a homemaker and a former employee of the American Greeting Card Company in Osceola and had lived in Jonesboro for the past several years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Zan Finley. She was a former member of the Leachville First United Methodist Church and a current member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Jonesboro.

Survivors include;

2 sons and daughters-in-law;
Jim and Jo Ella Finley of Cape Girardeau, MO
Jerry and Debbie Finley of Jonesboro

4 Brothers;
Ervin Cobbs of Heber Springs, AR
R. P. Cobbs of Flint, MI
Clyde Cobbs of Cardwell, MO
Charles Cobbs of Leachville

1 Sister;
Ruth Turner of Winthrop, AR

She also leaves 4 grandchildren;
Kara Finley Skelton, Kris Finley, Hunter Finley, and Mary Finley.

Funeral Service will be 10 am Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Terry Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening from 5-8 at the funeral home. The family prefers any memorials be made to the Mozambique Africa Initiative @ Grace United Methodist Church, 521 Caruthers, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 or the Leachville First United Methodist Church.
