I knew you as "Billy". I babysat for you and your younger brother when I was a young girl. You had a very large dog that "almost" made me nervous. (an Alaskan Malmut) When I look at your picture I see the same young face that I knew then. We had alot of fun! Especially putting the Partridge Family record on and singing and dancing to the music. I have to admit, I was the most interested in the exercise,

On a personal level I can think of nothing more difficult for a parent to reconcile, understand and endure than the death of a child.

My deepest sympathy.

Maryellen,

We were so sorry, and surprised, to read about Bill. It is awful to lose someone so young. It seems like only yesterday that we were sitting around Stephanie's desk, eating lunch, and talking about your handsome sons.

I will keep you and John in my thoughts.

Fondly,

Sue Stone

Bill was one of those rare friends that were always honest and devoted. He appreciated the friendships in his life and he tried to show it the best way he knew how. I will miss the endless hours of joking around we shared over the years in and out of work. One of my fondest memories of Bill was seeing his face light up when Charlie would smiled back at him. Goodbye my friend and thank you for the time we shared.

I grew up and went to school with both John and Bill and was very shocked to hear of this terrible news this morning. May God be with you.

First,my prayers are with you and your family. Bill helped me in many ways in the few years I worked with him. I can only aspire to be as cool and calm as Bill. A brief candle; both ends burning
An endless mile; a bus wheel turning
A friend to share the lonesome times
A handshake and a sip of wine
So say it loud and let it ring
We are all a part of everything
The future, present and the past
Fly on proud bird
You're free at last.

While I didn't know Bill personally, I knew and worked with Maryellen. To know Maryellen I think would be to know Bill. From the memorials that people have sent in, Bill had Maryellen's personality. What wonderful memories Bill left in peoples minds of childhood and in his later years with associates. My husband and I know what it is like to lose a child and although your heart is broken, just to know the legacy Bill has left in everyone's
