Dear Sally and family,
Marie and I have just heard of the death of cousin John Mariner and want to send our condolences. Twice I lived with Uncle Steve, Aunt Lydia and their family, my cousins Ruth, Marty, and John. My cousins were like brothers and sister to me. Although we have had little contact since then, I will always remember fondly those years when I became a member of John's family. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you. Cousin Fred Brandauer

We were grieved to hear of John's death and pray for comfort for Sally and the family. We met John in Istanbul and then stayed with John and Sally at their home in 2008, enjoying hospitality and the comfort they gave freely to visitors. John was a good servant our Father and it's blessing to know we will meet again.

Dear Sally, Martha, faith and Debbie, I just wanted to tell you that I am with you although not in person but surely in spirit at the demise of your husband/father. I am pleased that he is with the lord, a place where he truly deserves to be. I worked with him for 33 years and I cannot forget his hardwork, dedication and devotion to his work. His tireless effort and work brought the hospital to the level it is

Dear Sally, Martha, Faith and Debbie...I worked with him for more than 30 years, and although i am not present there, His demise has grieved us all. He was surely a servant of the Lord Jesus, a godly humble person, who dedicated his life to the noble service of Christ and his people. And definitely, God blessed him with a beautiful wife and a loving caring family. His life was filled with pleasures of love, fatherhood and grandparenthood...However, this life is

Dear Sally and family, We first met John when my father, Elmer Shesler, died. We knew John wasn't well then, but we had hoped we could have seen him again when we make our next trip to SC. We are sorry this will not happen now. He was a very kind man, and helped us in our time of need. I know he will be missed. Sincerly, George and Dianne Swinler.

Dear Mrs. Mariner and family,
How I thank God for thelife and ministry of John Mariner! The World Witness work of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church exploded exponentially under his leadership.
I am proud to have been a member of both the
old Board of Foreign Missions of the ARP Church as well as the Search Commiyttee, along with Edna Parkinson Morrison, that recommended and engaged John. We could not have known the advances he would lead us to.
I treasure the memoruy of
