As a young boy with my parents(Italian American). Tony and Louise loved Mario Lanza. That Midnight Kiss is one of the first movies I can remember going to in the neighborhood theater(pre-TV). 20 cents and you enjoyed. What a beautiful couple they made on the screen. Geat song from that movie was Lovliest night of the Year, still one of my all time favorites. God Bless Youtube, they are all there. She was great in Show Boat with Howard Keel. My mother raised my aunt after their parents died. Dorothy was 12 years my senior and loved the musical movies, so took me with her to them all in the 40s and 50s.
Miss Grayson was always so beautiful and her voice was so beautifully pure. I grew up loving her. My condolences to her daughter and family. Thank you for sharing your Mother with us.

I grew up on those oldies but goodies! I never knew so many wonderful actist were still alive! She one of my favorite actist & singers! She was truly blessed with a God Gifted voice.... I'll always keep her in memories with watching SHOWBOAT. God Bless...
