words cannot express how sad myself and my family are to hear about dear Giovanni's sudden death. He was always very special to me as we were great friends as well as cousins and shared so many lovely memories when he came home to Ireland on holidays from Scotland during School holidays.
I will always keep him and his lovely family in my prayers and I am so pleased I was able to spend a short time with them all in

Giovanni will never be forgotten. I will always remember his smile and affection. His sense of humour was "off the cuff". When he visited us in London UK he always stayed with us for a few days and he had great yarns and stories and jokes for us. He always had plenty of craic. Sue and family we're so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and the kids. PS. If ever in UK please visit if possible, 01689 838782 or by e-mail sweeknee@hotmail.com
God Bless you all may he rest in peace. xxx

I first met Givoanni in the early 80s when Sue and I worked together at Glasgow University and he took us out for lunch to a little place called Joe’s Garage. What a handsome man, a real charmer with his amazing smile and Glasgow patter! As I got to know him better I added ‘warm, kind, funny, generous, a genuinely nice guy’ to that list of first impressions. Throughout the 80s and 90s Sue, Giovanni and family became dear friends

To Susann & all the Quigley family my sincere condolences to you all.
I have special memories of "Tino" as he was known in school.
We were all in awe of him when he informed us in the class that he was a Ballboy at Celtic Park especially "Koko" who has in fact stated that on the school website.
I have known Giovanni since I went to St. Gerard's in 1959 and although we went our separate ways when he left school

My condolences to the Quigley family. I wil always remember Giovanni for his mischief and humour - always winding up Kerry, Paul and Fran for his own amusement (and for those around them). With fond memories and sincere condolences x
