Debbie, I am so sorry at your loss. You have been a "rock" for your family. My prayers for you and your family is peace, love, and some wonderful memories to replace these sad, hard times. God loves you and may he "surround you" with his love and peace.

Gary was my father-in law for 10 years and always treated me like one of his own and was a great grandad to my son Chris.

Our hearts go out to you Debra and the family. Gary was a very special man that left his finger prints everywhere he went...especially here at the FamilyLife warehouse. His smile was absolutely contagious! It was evident that Gary loved the Lord and that he trusted Him for whatever the outcome. We are happy for Gary because we know He is with His Heavenly Father and his grandson Blake...at the same time our hearts ache for those he left behind.

To the Hefner family, I was so sorry to learn of Gary's passing. I have fond memories of him when we lived at Antioch when he drove the little school bus that took us to Brown's Store to catch the larger bus to school. God bless you all.
