Gwen and girls, Amy just told me of Jim's passing; and I had been thinking about your family just a week ago. Even though God may bless us with many friends, there are a few that are forever unforgettable. You and Jim are people like that: your hospitality and ministry to so many in so many ways. It was always a pleasure to enjoy Jim's stories and laughter and love of life. I'll never forget the fishing trip we did

Sue, Jamie, Jodie, & Jessica, I am so sorry for your loss! When I was a child, I saw Jim as well as all of you at Grandpa Jim's and at Aunt Hazel & Uncle Bud's. I can remember I always loved listening to him talk, because he would captivate me with his voice, and it seems as though I remember him always having a smile on his face! You are all in my thoughts and prayers!

Gwen, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. I was the realtor that Jim chose to sell his dad's house and then I sold your house for you. I knew Jim from ACapalla at North Side. He will be missed. I liked to call him "The Voice" Again God's blessings. Linda and Walt Leimer

Gwen and the girls, So saddened and shocked to hear that Jim has passed away. You all were such a great, fun, loving family and like my sister - I have never forgotten all the fun times and excellent meals we had together at your home. I always thought you were a "cool" family. Loved to hear the stories Jim would tell and yes, I remember listening to music in the basement and playing around with the player piano you

Gwen, Jessica, and Family: I was so sad when my father told me that Jim Ellenwood had passed away. My mind immediately traveled back many years to all the Wednesday night dinners at your home and the smell of his pipe. I always LOVED that smell and to this day, he is the first person I think of when I smell someone smoking a pipe. I also remember his laugh, it was deep, hearty, and infectious. I will never forget

Way back in the mid-seventies I had the honor of working with Jim at WLYV. He taught me so much about broadcasting - I appreciated his patience and always smile when I hear/see a Stucky's ad! He will be surely missed.
