Dearest Maureen- There are no words right now that anyone can say to make any of this better. I just want you to know that you've been on my mind since I heard the news and I think about you each and every day. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for the many days, months, and years to come. Hang on to those many memories and rest assured that Dan's looking down upon you every minute of every day. We were deeply saddened to hear of Dan's passing. Our hearts and prayers go out to Dan's family and friends. He was truly a stand-up Great Guy and we enjoyed working for him on projects in Ft. Wayne. My deepest sympathies go out to Dan's wife, kids and the whole Cuney family! I remember Dan from my childhood. We used to live behind and across the alley from you (The Dornseifs). My sympathy to the entire Cuney clan on the loss from this world of Dan, my old friend from SJC days. I'm sure he's yucking it up "on high" in his characteristic pose--glass in one hand, stogie in the other.

To all of you who knew my Dan, I will miss him so much, he was my husband, love and my best friend in the world. He was such a fun person, kind and loving, he spoke of all of you with love and respect. I am devasted to lose him now, we had so many plans for the future. Thanks to all of you who have been there for me, especially the Cuney family. You have been my rock.

Dear Cuney Family, I first met Dan back in the late 70's when we attended surveying classes at IPFW, and have always bumped into him over the years. Dan always had a kind word and his trademark smile donned his face. My deepest sympathies on your loss.
