Memories & Candles
Dear Jack, I have been so sad for you, for Doris, and for your boys. I know that we can never really prepare ourselves for such a loss, but this was so sudden for all of you and for your friends at the Kove. More than a few tears have been shed. I love the picture of Doris and I really liked what you put in her obituary....what a sweet, wonderful woman, friend, mother and wife she has been. God Bless you, Jack, and may we see you again soon. Love, your friend, Betty Collins

Jack, Larry, Mark, David, Paul and family,
There are no words that can be said that will ease the pain that you are experiencing and we all grieve with you. I hope that all of the wonderful memories can give you some comfort. I'll always remember the wonderful times we had together 'Up North', especially the giant pancakes. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jack, Larry, David and Paul -
Huck and I are shocked and saddened by the death of our friend Doris. We are in Myrtle Beach for several months and LeeAnn called to let us know. My Mom, Beulah is also truly saddened. Doris would write in her note to Mom that she related to her as her 'stand-in Mom'. Doris was the one that got Mom interested in volunteering at Marion General Hospital and had spent over 35 years

Jack, Larry, Mark, David, Paul & Families
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. It's been years since I've
seen any of you, but I have alot of wonderful memories of my
childhood spent with your family. I bet Mark still remembers
Grandma Speck's lumpy applesauce. If any of you are ever in Marion
I'd love to see you.

My Friend, how saddened is Joy’s and my heart on the loss of your dear Doris.
Words cannot express nor do I possess the ability to write and bring you and your family comfort. As we all know that comfort and peace which seems to be fleeting and/or so far from you at this time can only come from and be found in God.
May you and your family be sustained through these difficult times by relatives, friends and memories. Know that
