Ted; I thought you would always be here. You did so much to help me transform the community park system and community gardens of Jersey City since 1991. So often, you insisted on delivering the trees and plants yourself. I know it was more than the plants...you got pleasure from seeing your efforts uplift and transform a community. And you often donated many plants beyond what we purchased. In memory and inspiration, you will indeed always be here with us.

How else to describe Ted? He could do it. describe your situation, and he was on it, fully present and helping you. He cared without the gushiness, loved with such passion, and supported you 100%. We are sorry to hear about Ted's passing. I was always happy to see him at coffee hour. St, Agnes had no better friend than Ted and it is so nice to pass the Nursery on the way home.

I am so sorry for your loss of Mr. Cox to the entire Cox family. He was the sweetest man I have ever met and worked for. I will never forget his loving smile and the jokes he would make. He always had a glimmer in his eye that I will never forget.

Dear Shirley and family: My father, Ernie Thompson of XS Smith, Inc. had great times with your husband, Mr. Ted Cox. Both men were the best roll models and fathers a child could ask for. They loved flowers, plants, and the great outdoors, especially the beautiful golf courses of the world. Your husband will be truly missed. Our prayers are with you. Sincerely with sympathy, Mary Jane Thompson O'Hare and all
