Jon, Phyllis, Dana and family: My prayers are with you, but I know that you are comforted in knowing that Rick is with family and friends. I would imagine that there have been quite a few stories told in the last week concerning Rick. Rick was quite a character and will be missed but the memories of Rick will continue with you until you see him again. Love, Virginia

DANA, REMEMBER WHEN YOU OFFICIATED AT NICOLE MARIETTA'S WEDDING? YOUR DAD WAS STANDING IN THE BACK AND HE WAS SO PROUD OF YOU. AFTER THE WEDDING WE TOLD HIM WHAT A GREAT JOB THAT YOU HAD DONE, AND TEARS JUST WELTED UP IN HIS EYES. THAT SAID IT ALL. YOU WERE A TRUE BLESSING TO HIM. MAY GOD BLESS.

I met Rick as I was entering 7th grade and he 8th at Dana. We enjoyed a friendly rivalary on the basketball court as we competed to play for Coach Boatman on the Jr High team. I have always had fond memories of Rick and those days. My deepest sympathies to Rick's family. Grace and peace to you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Rick's family and friends. Although I grew up running around with Jon, my older brothers always told me stories about Rick. Growing up in Dana was the best experience of my childhood and Rick and others like him had a lot to do with that. I pray God's grace and strength will be with all those who mourn his passing into the presence of Christ.

Jon, Phylis, Dana, Britainy, Erin and family. Although, I only met Rick a couple of times, living with Bobbie and having the privilege of being friends with Jon and Phylis, I have heard, and continue to hear so many stories about "Rick" Lewman. It is quite obvious that he has touched many lives and will be missed. The stories about Rick seem to never end and the smiles and laughter that go along with those stories are unforgetable. My heart

Jon, Phylis, Dana, family and friends,

You cannot hear the name Rick Lewman and a smile not come to your face. As others have already said, he was "one of a kind" leader that was infectious with his smile, laughter, and God-given talents and abilities. It was a joy to grow up with him as your friend, because you always knew there was a good time coming while in his presence and a practical joke was not to far from happening!

My brothers have already expressed how we, as a family, feel about having Rick as a part of our extended family. He and our brother Bus were inseparable. When Bus died, Rick was as grief stricken as we were. In addition to Jon and Mark, Rick had 7 other brothers (and a sister or two) who also loved him as one of our own. Our wives also were also introduced to the Rick Lewman we all talked about. In 1982-83,
