I played for Coach Tye at Vintage high School for two years 1976 and 1977. He was a great coach who was fully devoted to his players, and shared his knowledge of the game with all of us. He will always be remembered, God Bless and Rest In Peace Coach.

We are sad at Clarence's passing away, but rejoice that we will see him again in heaven. He was quite a character and one of the most up-beat individuals we have ever met. For the past five years we have had the privilege of having him and Judy for neighbors. He will be missed! Judy, you are in our prayers.

I was very sad to hear of Clarence's death. He was truly an amazing and compassionate man. He will be missed by so many friends and family.

On behalf of the Western States Cutting Horse Association our heartfelt condolences go out to Judy and the entire family. I, personally, only had the pleasure of meeting Clarence last fall at his Hall Of Fame Induction, but from the stories and reminiscing of those who knew him well, I know he was quite a man. We were so fortunate to have Clarence involved in Western States and in the cutting world. Good Ride Cowboy! Vaya con Dios.

My Grandfather, Clarence Tye, was the most amazing man I knew. He taught me that I could achieve all of my dreams and he made me believe in myself. He was the one person that I could always rely on when no one else was there. I've never had someone support me as much he did. I am truly blessed to have had him in my life. You will forever be missed by me Grandpa.

I was sad to learn of Clarence's death. What an excellent horseman he was! I enjoyed visiting with him and learning from him.

Coach, Thank you for all your guidance and friendship. I will never forget you. I'm very grateful that I was able to talk with you a few times and reconnect these past few years. Aside from my Father you are at the very top of my list of men whom I admire and had a strong impact on my life. My 13 year old son, an avid baseball player, has heard and will continue to hear many Clarence Tye stories.
