My daddy was the best daddy. He was my hero. I will never forget everything he has done for my family. I have so many great memories with him, and I will always love him. Now that he is with Jesus he can do all the things he couldn't do on Earth. I love you daddy and I miss you.

I don't deal well with death and prefer to remember Ray when he was alive. Even when he returned to work, and looked so weary, he still had a smile and time to be friendly. We could all learn a lot from him and I know he had a positive impact on us all. Rest in peace Ray. Sympathies to his family for their loss & thank you for sharing him with everyone...he was a blessing.

I'm so sad to hear about Ray, I didn't know him in his adult yrs, I knew him as a kid, and a great one he was, just as I'm sure he was a great man, father, husband. I've known the Kirkpatrick family since early 70's. I myself just beat breast cancer, 6 months remmission, I just wish Ray had that opportunity as I did. I will be greatly missed. My Condolenses go out to his wife, children, his sisters Denise & Eileen and brother Scott. May you rest in peace Ray! From a friend of the past, Colleen Grove

I agree with all the things others have written about Ray. He was who he was, a unique, wonderul individual. He made work here at FB so much fun. He even laughed once when I mistakenly called him Princess and would leave me messages to pick up materials from the print shop and end by saying...oh, by the way, this is Princess Ray. God has definitely called another angel home. To his family, my deepest sympathy. You have a special angel looking over you at all times.

My wife and I both worked with Ray at Farm Bureau. Ray and I had some great times talking and swapping stories. I will hold the memories of our fishing trip to Mansitee dear. He was a good friend and will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies to your entire family during this extremely difficult time. We will hold him in our prayers.
