Dad, I wish we'd had more time... I miss you!

Posted by: Robin Arndt - N PRINCE GEORGE, VA - Daughter   Feb 19, 2016

My first job was at Dinos pizza and it was Pete who interviewed me for the position. It was way back around 1975 and I was just 17 then. He was funny and I could tell very easy going. I enjoyed the time I worked for him there and will always be thankful he gave me my first big break in the working industry.

Over the past several years when Pete came to Florida, we spent many happy hours fishing, working on equipment, eating pizza and often just talking. I'm thankful for the relationship we developed and he will be missed. Pete was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Our hearts are deep with sorrow with the loss of such a close friend. He will be missed daily. We all must remember the good times and what a great human being is no longer with us. We hope they have chili and meatloaf in heaven!

What a shock it was to see that Pete has passed away. I started working with him when he first bought Joshua`s Lounge. He was a great boss and a good friend to Bill and I. We had many good times in the 80s. I remember when his little girl was born and would come in in her stroller..the years have flown by and she has given him a granddaughter.Such a savy businessman and always playing jokes..we will miss you

We always thought so much of our good friend and former neighbor Pete. Living across the street from Pete for 10 years was a treat. Pete was a generous , kind man. He did many favors for us ...things like going to our house to get our pup when a tornado was near ... to putting us up when we had a houseful of people during the "Blizzard". We were always grateful for having Pete as a friend and neighbor.
