Brenda Kay Tungate Beckon, 65, of Salem Road, retired Scott County Schools bus driver and wife of Paul “Butch” Beckon passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Georgetown Community Hospital.A native of Scott County, she was the daughter of the late Harry William Tungate and Bernice Crupper Tungate Marshall.Survivors besides her husband include one son, Mike (Laura) Emmons, Georgetown; one daughter, Mary (Clyde) Thomson, Texas; several grandchildren including Jalen and Micah Emmons; two sisters, Jo Ann (James) Lyons, Georgetown and Rebecca (Ted) Beckham, Williamstown.A Celebration of Life service will be held at some point in the future. Memorials may be made to the Markey Cancer Center, 800 Rose Street, Lexington, Ky 40536.
