Memories & Candles
My mother (Pat Wooten) worked for Children and Family Service for an number of years, and was very fond of Karen. Karen handled our case when I was adopted at age 9 and I will never forget her kind and gentle nature. I knew I wanted to treat people the same way when I grew up. My sincere condolences for your loss.

I was so saddened to hear this heartbreaking news! My goodness, Karen and I went to all twelve grades of school together.... from Whitwell School days to graduation at Ironton High School. What a terrible and untimely loss this is!
Karen was good to everybody, she never belonged to cliques or excluded anybody from friendship, just the happiest, kindest, and friendliest gal in the whole world. I see in the newspaper clipping that she worked in Huntington just two blocks

Mrs. Burwell, David, Louis and Nancy, so sorry to hear of your loss. Karen was loved and she was so helpful to my mom in later years. I have fond memories of David and Karen when we lived on Pleasant Street as your neighbor. You will be in my prayers and hope you have comfort and peace during this time.
