It is amazing the memories that I have of my unforgettable Papa. When I was growing up, I didn't get to see him as often as I would have liked, but the memories from the times I did spend with him are forever in my mind and heart. He used to love when I would sing "Swingin" to him, and I loved to listen to his many stories. I am so very thankful for those memories, as well as the more recent ones. Since he moved to Sumter, seasonally, we were able and honored to meet with him fairly regularly and take him out for a meal and chat. He loved his great-grandchildren with all of his heart, and would just glow as they would bounce around him and sit on his lap. They grew close to their Papa in the time they had with him. He always made sure to tell us "I love you, and don't you ever forget that". We never will Papa. Thank you for loving us and sharing your life with us. We look forward to seeing you again one day, in our eternal home. We Love You.
