I first met Mrs. Badger when I was 11 years old while a classmate of Rhea's.... I remember thinking she was so beautiful ~ always reminding me of Katherine Hepburn..her personality, her demeanor ~ her "class"! I spent many hours visiting with her in her wonderful bedroom in Palos Park, with the fireplace flickering, watching her paint her nails, apply her make-up and scrunch her hair while sitting at her dressing table smoking a cigarette and sipping her Coke through

I am so grateful to have gotten to know the Badgers. They were individuals and a couple that you would aspire to "grow up" like. Julia always had a smile on her face and when she spoke to you, I had never been called "Love" before, you knew it was genuine. I have never seen a man treat a woman with so much love and admiration. They will be truelly missed by all who were blessed enough to know them

Aunt Judy made me feel Special!!! She had such a gift for loving people and I'm so blessed to of loved her, Always will. I just want to thank Uncle Chet, Russ, Kirk, Rhea and Chad for letting me be a part of your wonderful family. I have so many great memories of talking, LAUGHING, dancing, riding in the car and just being with you all. I knew when I walked in that door I would always have loving arms

Julia was a lovely lady. I will always appreciate the kindness she showed my daughter, Kim. Julie sent Kim a poem she had written just a few weeks ago. My deepest sympathy to her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I am thankful for many things. Near the top of the list is the fact that my late husband Tom and I met the Badgers. Chett's work took him to several areas of this country. Wherever they were, Judy became a friend to many. We met in Palos Park, their home before Grand Rivers. One was always welcome at the Badgers' home. If asked for, a person could always count on discreet and helpful advice. Their home was a fun
