MY PAPAW IS ONE OF THE SWEETEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. I COULD ALWAYS TRUST HIM AND COULD TELL HIM ANYTHING. I ALWAYS FELT COMFORTBLE WITH HIM. HE WAS THE BEST PAPAW ANYONE COULD EVER ASK FOR. HE ALWAYS DID ANYTHING FOR ANYONE NO MATTER WHO IT WAS. I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS ABOUT 7, HE TOOK ME TO MY FIRST HAUNTED HOUSE. HE STARTED TAKING ME AND MY SISTER MADISON TO ONE EVERY YEAR. I REMEMBER LAST YEAR

MY DAD WAS A VERY WISE MAN. YOU COULD TURN TO HIM WITH ANY PROBLEM BIG OR SMALL. HE HAD A WAY OF MAKING YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WOULD MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION NO MATTER WHAT IT WOULD BE. HE WAS THE KIND OF PERSON WHO EXCEPTED VERTUALLY ANYONE FOR WHO THEY WERE NO HESITATION. HE NEW THAT HE WAS SICK AND STILL REMAINED WITH A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. I've known Mike for over 30 years as a co-worker and friend. After we moved to FW we stayed in touch by phone and we occasionally went to some ball games with Jeff and John. Over the last few years Mike and I talked about once a month or so. I always started the call with a rude comment and he would laugh and say "hey Lerchie-boy, how you doing". I'm going to miss that!! Every time we talked we

I was really sad to hear of his passing from my co-worker Brenda Kerr. He was the nicest man.. He delivered drinks to the Kokomo High School Cafeteria. He always had a smile and a good morning greeting to all of us. He retired and we missed him. To his family ...he was a gem of a person.. with a great smile... sorry for your loss... We were lucky to know him...

Mike to me was a special man in his childrens and grandchildrens hearts. Any time i heard any of them talk about him they always had a smile on thier face. I did not get to know Mike for as long as most of you but i feel like I am a better person fo meeting him. Mike was always kind to me and never treated me like i was an outsider even when his daughter Megan and me first

Dear Dad
I have so many memories with you but my wedding day was the dearest to my heart. You made it perfect. You said everything that every girl dreams of hearing from her Dad. Our Father Daughter dance was so special and will forever be etched in my heart. You are my first love, my friend and my familys hero. You will always be Isaiahs best friend. I think he gets his strength from you. I am so happy my

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Marden family. I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing and sorry I was unable to make it to Eller's on Sunday evening. Mike was a wonderful person and he loved his family dearly. Every time I would run into him somewhere, we would always talk about the our families; how everyone has grown and how his family had grown in size. May Mike now get the much needed rest he deserves and be waiting to see you all again.
