My Uncle Pete was the best. White Point Beach will always be in my memories. How you got us ALL into that station wagon we will never know. You taught me to watch the waves, mind the tide, not be afraid of sea urchins and you let me run in the sand until the sun went down. I will always remember the nights when I would sit in your yard, that overlooked San Pedro, and watch the city lights as

Pete and I met on June 12, 2010 at John's 75th birthday party in Temecula. It was the first time I met most of this side of my family. What a good feeling I got from him after knowing that he knew my father (who I've lost). He helped fill in a little of my life from close to fifty years before that was unknown before that day. After seeing a picture of him as a young man, I also see my brother Thomas (1960-1994) in his face. Glad I was able to meet you Pete and thanks...

Some of my special memories of my Dad were the times we spent talking about politics and foreign affairs during dinner time. My Dad encouraged me to become politically active to make a difference in our society. I always will remember my own father's tales of the Korean War conflict and him being a witness to history. My Dad was always willing to attempt to answer my metaphysical questions. Thanks Dad... you encouraged me in my philosophy and in my spiritual quest for knowledge. See you later-but not now. Death is just a beginning of a new life. Love, Victoria

My best memories of my Grandpa can be easily mixed up. Summer days and "the Rocks" in San Pedro, doorbell pranks in Carson. His incredible patience in teaching me to use his camera, his incredible lack of patience in teaching me to parallel park. Football games on Friday nights, Looney Tunes on Saturday mornings. Thank you Grandpa for helping me become who I am today. I will miss you always, but I know that Grandma and you are together again, watching over all of us. I love you, and I'm sorry about those dented trash cans! Always your Baby, Marie

My favorite memory of my Uncle Pete would be him packing all of us crazy, wild, loud cousins into his station wagon and going to the beach, then going back to his house and having slumber parties. I don't know how he and Auntie Chelo put up with us! God bless you Uncle Pete, and thank you for all the fond memories...
