Leo Richard Pothier

Colleen, sending my deepest sympathies on the passing of your father. He was a great man and father. You were a very lucky daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with the Pothier family at such a sad time.

Mr. P. - I will remember you fondly...kind, gentle, good natured, and always helpful...who else would be "a personal snowplow" getting us kids to school on time on a cold February morning in that blue truck!

I only knew Leo Pothier casually. We had met because I had his son David work for me from time to time over the last 10 years. On a few occasions my father Carl and I had the chance to chat with Mr. Pothier. My father and Leo both graduated from Medford High and had a lot in common.

I remember a situation

On behalf of the Stinson family I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the entire Pothier family.

I only knew Leo Pothier casually. We had met because I had his son David work for me from time to time over the last 10 years. On a few occasions my father Carl and I had the chance to chat with Mr. Pothier. My father and Leo both graduated from Medford High and had a lot in common.

I remember a situation a few years back when my family had a job in Rowley, Ma. David was working with us that day as well. David had a dire medical issue that related to a kidney stone and David had to go( quickly) to the hospital. Another employee of mine rushed him to the hospital. Leo Picked up his son in Newburyport. Leo was from my perspective a father first. I cant tell you how many stories David told me about his Dad and how hard of a worker he was. It was obvious to me that he was a hard working man. He was obviously part of the "GREATEST GENERATION". I can tell you that from my own personal experience that family dynamics are never always an easy road especially between fathers and sons. I know that David and Leo had their share of difficulties. I will say however that David loved his Father very much.

Again my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this period of grief and sadness.

Uncle Richard was one of the last of the good guys on the planet, always there when needed to lend a hand never asking for anything in return. Always there for me when I visited, taking me everywhere like I was a son.

I'm gonna miss ya Unk, but I will never forget you or the life lesson I've learned from you.
