Dear family of Hildegarde. I will always treasure meeting Hildegarde on the Benedictine Pilgrimage and staying in touch with her. The visits to her home in Manotowoc and the sunrises she told me not to miss, even though early, will remain with me forever and I am grateful to God for bringing us together.

I will be travelling with Fr. Volker for the service. I will meet you all then.
Blessings and Peace to Hildegardes memory. May God give you everything you need to celebrate her life and your legacy, even though you grieve.

Your mother came into my life during a very difficult time in my life. Her
wisdom and faith helped me thru. I heard stories about her youth. My grand parents came from Germany. when ever I visited your mother I came away
refreshed and smiling. She was a very great lady. I am glad she was part of my life.

Hildegarde will be sadly missed by my family. We will miss her stories of her childhood growing up in Germany and all the wonderful food made at Christmas. She had a natural talent for making you feel you mattered in her life and truely meant it. We loved her like family but in truth she was a dear friend.

We grieve Hildegarde's death and express our sympathy to all the family. As neighbors for several years on New York Ave./Lincoln Blvd., with garages backing up to each other on the alley, we had quite a bit of interaction and got glimpses of all the children as they grew. When Tina and Eric moved into the family home, we really appreciated them as neighbors, even though we moved soon after they came.

Hildegarde was always so gracious and interested in us
