You meant more than any word can possibly explain to me. I feel hollow and lonely without your hug, your smile, your words of wisdom, your guidance, and most of all your selfless, humbling, ultimate love and concern for me. I promised you I would be ok, and maybe someday I will be. You will never be forgotten, and as I promised you on that last day, you will be in my thoughts everyday so long as you hold up

It was a privilege and a pleasure to have known Dave as a co-worker and as a good friend. Someone who knew Dave way longer than me, on hearing of his passing, said that he didn't believe Dave had a single enemy in the business world - a thoroughly nice guy. I'll miss our conversations.

I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Almost two years ago at the family gathering in Atlanta --it was such a pleasure to chat with Dave and his wife Carol. We joked about how many years had passed since we had last seen each other. He will be sadly missed at this reunion and in the years ahead.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time
Love to you all=Miriam Mitten(Merry Wilfong)

I worked with Dave directly at Gehl Company for a number of years and he was a great mentor to me as I began my career in construction equipment product development and marketing. He was a fine, fine man and is a tribute to the work and efforts he did for us and our industry.

I had the honor of getting to know David during our time at Komatsu. He was a fine man that I enjoyed working with David over the course of several years, and I am saddened to learn of his passing.

May God bless and comfort the Horner family during this time.

Sincerly,

David Caldwell

Seeing the love that is shared with all the family is indeed a testiment to the love that was felt from Dave in his life.
His footprint on our lives will always be one that is remembered by all who knew him.
