Memories & Candles
JoAnn, Ronny, Teresa--
Sorry it has taken me so long to find this tribute page. I spoke to Don only a couple weeks after Jim's unfortunate passing and I just wanted to tell you all how much I thought of Jim, the man he was, and all he did for me as a kid.
Will never forget sitting in your living room during a night off covering the Branch Davidian Siege in Waco 20 years ago and laughing about stuff that happened twenty years before that in Fairfield.
Thoughts and prayers continue with you!

Dear JoAnn, Don and Sallie,
Barbara and I were watching the State playoffs on television tonight and it brought back memories of the days at Fairfield. I decided to try and locate you on Facebook and Google. We are both saddened by the news of Jim's passing. We often recall the fun we had with our little group of teachers there. Please send us news when you get a chance. Your friends, Dennis and Barbara Price

Mrs. Reed, I want you to know I am very sorry for your loss. I just heard that Coach Reed passed away. He was a great man and a great coach. I really enjoyed playing football for him at West High. Even back then he was

Coach Reed was a mentor to all of us considered to be "troubled youth" in the Channelview area during the 1970's. He made a lasting impression on each of us. He was a good man and the salt of the earth kind of guy.

Okay Jim, what am I going to do now that you aren't here to tease me about everything I do and say and wear and breathe. We (Don, you, JoAnn and I) had some great times at West, at the Beach, Laughlin, fishing, you name it we had some great times. The Reed family circle has been shattered lately, but we still have our memories and those live with us everyday.
