Mrs. Schorlemmer,

We only recently found out about Chuck's passing and wanted you to know how much we admired and respected him.

My mother-in-law, Bessie Arthurs, was so fond of Chuck and considered him a true servant of the Lord. When she died in 1991, he honored her request to preach at her funeral.

Please accept Dale and my condolences and know that you are in our prayers.

Chuck used to be the pastor at the church my grand-parents and I attended- Bethel Christian Church in Athens. Chuck was a wonderful, thoughtful, and inspiring man. I remember seeing the whole family there every Sunday and watching his children grow. We may have lost a voice of the Lord- but the memories we'll have are forever.

I am so sorry for your loss. Rev. Schorlemmer was one of my favorite sunday school teachers. He was always so energetic and positive. And so very patient with all us roudy kids. He will surely be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Chuck and I worked together at Terrell State Hospital for many years and I can say I've never known a more devout and loving man. He will certainly be missed by all. May God Bless you all.

Mrs. Schorlemmer and Liz:
Mr. Schorlemmer and your family were always so special to us. There was never a time that all of you did not have a good word and a smile to share. Mr. Schorlemmer was a great man,
and an adoring father to Lester and Liz.
He was a dear friend to T.C.A. and to us. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you.
