Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this time. We are so very sorry to hear of Dr. Heming's passing. Bonnie became Dr. Heming's patient when Shirley was his receptionist in his Davenport office on Locust Street. He was a very special person who came into our lives and chose us to receive the gift of a beautiful baby girl who was born on March 29, 1973. He said he chose us because we already had two

I wanted to extend my heartfelt sympathy to your family on the loss of Don Heming. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet him on a glorious fall day on the campus at Notre Dame just outside the shadow of the golden dome while with his son, and my friend, Scott. Although the interaction was brief, I could tell how happy Scott and his Dad were to just enjoy the day together as father and son. May

Dear, Lisa,Deb, Scott and Chris-Sending you all heartfelt prayers and sympathy upon hearing of your dad's passing. I count myself blessed to have been included in many Heming memories. Your jovial father was forever extending a welcome invitation to join your laughter-infused home. May our fathers look down with satisfaction and see that the torches can indeed be passed to another generation of familial love. I wish I were there to give each of you big bear hugs! My love-especially to Jo-Beth

My deepest sympathy wishes are for the entire Heming family. I loved working with and for Dr. Heming. He treated me so well, and took care of me as if I were his own daughter. He was always so upbeat and positive, usually whistling or humming a tune while strolling through the office. I'll always remember his fun Christmas parties that he and Mrs. Heming hosted for the office staff, his love of gardening, his little red sport car, and

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Heming. My condolence to Mrs. Heming and family. Dr. Heming was my doctor for 20 + years until he retired. He was my GYN and a very good one, always had a smile and would ask me how in the hell are you and proceed to ask me have i gotten married yet? It was a personal joke he would tease me until i finally did get married and he was happy for me. Rest In Peace Dr. Heming.

I am sorry to hear about Don's passing. He was a wonderful boss and a great physician to work for. No matter what kind of day he was having, he was always ready with a friendly pat on the back and a cheerful greeting. His enthusiasm for life was infectious.

I remember him coming to the office to pick up his mail after he retired and shared stories with us about his travels to South America with his wife. He

I will always remember Dr. Heming for his sense-of-humor as well as wonderful upbeat approach to life and his work. Although he wasn't on call the days my two girls were born, when I think of bringing them into the world, I think of Dr. Heming. My deepest sympathy to Mary and his children and grandchildren on the loss of a truly wonderful man.

I remember Dr. Heming with fondness. Though Dr. Kerns was my OB, Dr. Hansen was on call the night I arrived at St. Luke's. He was delivering twins, so he called in Dr. Heming. Though it was after midnight, he came in wearing the most memorable red and green plaid golf pants after being in the Chicago area to play (as I remember). He and my husband got deep into conversation about engineering and then golf when they finally realized
